I had a vision that came to mind for a table setting for two, but I wanted to keep my budget low. You know all those local department stores that we all frequent, well the next time you are there, take a peek at their home/kitchen departments. You will be very surprise at all the beautiful things hidden behind the clothes and shoes. Entertaining does not have to be complicated or expensive. One of my favorite hues, are gold tones. So here is my idea of a beautiful setup for tow using gold tones and the where and how I achieved this look.
Plates: dinner ($4.99) Salad ($2.99) Homegoods. I love these plates so much, that I have used in several set ups.
Silverware ($9.99): Burlington. I think a lot of people associate them with coats and clothes but their home department have lots of little gems for entertaining.
Gold bread bowl ($9.99): also from Burlington and actually my three year old little prince point it out to me.
Gold rim wine glass ($2.99/ea); Flower ball ($14.99): Marshalls. I actually went in there for shirt and made a right turn and there I was. The vase is part of our inventory.
The candles ($.99/ea) from Michaels and the holders ($1.00/ea) from the Dollar Tree. You can't go wrong with those prices.
The beautiful red organza tablecloth and napkins are part of our inventory and went well with my idea.
Did you catch my vision board in the background and gold bottle of wine in the background :)
