I am so excited to share this Paris-themed baby shower with you guys. The mom-to-be wanted a girl theme that was soft and chic. So, we got to work and created this design that is soft and chic. I used a baby pink as our based color matched with black and polka dots. I found some great props at Homegoods and Michaels to add extra special touches. My client was happy and I was happy with the design concept. Take a closer look.
Black chair covers with pink sash. Up design a plain tea candle with pink washi tape. The tables were covered with a black cover and black and white polka dot overlay. I didn't want to have to much pink on the tables. Pink cupcake stand were used for these pretty flower gift boxes sitting next to these table mirrors.
We used black chargers with pink napkins folded into a heart shape design. ((I love creative napkin folds. I think folding a napkin into creative design is a cool way to add creativity to a table without overloading your table). I had some blank cards lying around and had a baby quote printed right on them and stamped each card with my crown and baby feet stamps. It was a big hit. For an extra touch, I placed pink rose petal soap on each corner of the cards.
The centerpieces were created with black wire Eiffel tower and a wreath of pink roses. That was fun to design. I didn't want to use vases or anything like that and since this is a themed party, this worked great. Each guest received a chocolate-filled favor box tied with pink ribbons. Our photo prop was a die-cut frame sprayed pink and embellished with gold glittered word Paris.
One lucky day at Homegoods, I found these Eiffel tower glass vase and filled them with pink chocolate candies. I found these pink covered pretzels at The Fresh Market. (I love The Fresh Market).
The mommy-to-be nails were painted to match the flower gift boxes. Designs by @mani_candi_by_e (follow her on Instagram for great natural nail art)
And there you have it folks. My idea of "Summer in Paris" themed baby shower. I hope you love and enjoy the pics. Another fun project.
