My idea was to incorporate the red, white, and blue without turning the table into a giant American flag design. Sitting at the drawing table and doing some thinking, I thought of what really represents this celebration, so what's more American than Ralph Lauren and his line of nautical looks. So I went with this nautical tablescape. It's cute and simple idea to duplicate and very stylish. To start off, I stopped at one of my favorite spots, Michaels. There, I picked up the white rope. There's an entire aisle dedicated to a beach-themed event. The rest was easy. I added flowers to a vase filled with blue water, Arbor Mist, gift bag, and for added touches message in a bottle sitting in a red star-shaped candle and voila!
Like I said, this design is easy to recreate and will surely impress your guests at your next patio Fourth of July dinner.
Let's dive in!
Finish with slices of watermelons. The fruit of the summer season or any others will do.
