This recipe takes about an hour to do, actually the prep takes 20 minutes or so. So this is an easy one.
- 3 pounds Yukon gold, round red, or russet potatoes , peeled and quartered (9 medium)
- 3 cloves garlic, halved
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg or 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Seasoned salt or salt
- Ground white pepper or black pepper
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 eggs
