One of my favorite foods at the state fair is funnel cake. I mean seriously who doesn't love funnel cakes. So imagine making these at home for a family BBQ or the little ones birthday.
Funnel cakes or fritters as they sometime called, are deep fried and served with powdered sugar and sometimes with red sauce, which I actually like it that way. Funnel cakes have been around for centuries and actually sold as novelty during the holidays, but nowadays you can't visit a fair and not smell the sweet crunchy golden-brown treat. So take that idea and turn into fries. They will definitely be a party's favorite.
