We woke up today to 52° degrees temperature in sunny south Florida. I don't even own a jacket that can withstand anything below 70. Cold or not the show must go on.
The city of Miami Gardens and the Betty T. Ferguson park held their annual football and cheerleaders award ceremony. This year the theme was Hollywood. We kept it simple and fun.We didn't have a big budget to work with but we were able to pull it off without compromising on the theme. We honor the coaches, the players, the cheerleaders and the parents for their support.
With any events that I'm working on, I always keep the budget in mind, but when it's corporate or city's event like this one where I know the budget is mostly likely written in stone, we have to be extra creative to put on a great event.
I just got in these beautiful black and white Satin fitted chair covers. Great place to start using them.
One of the coaches was retiring. How cool was this trophy? Looks like the real thing to me.
We were expecting over 200 guests.
I love this theme, it's always fun to do. The props are great.
This was a red carpet event.
The boys posing for the paparazzi.
The satisfied and happy faces of the kids and parents, PRICELESS.
I hope this post inspired you to be a little more Hollywood for your next party.
